Thanks, Gay Chicago

To the Editor:

First I must thank Craig, and his terrific staff at Gay Chicago Magazine for ensuring the shelves at GroceryLand remained stocked this past Pride June.

As they say, “It pays to advertise.” Your readers, clients, associates and friends came through in a big way.

As hard as I tried to keep a running tab on the items as they arrived, that’s how quickly they were packed up and given out, so … as best as the volunteers and I can gauge, the Gay Chicago bounty totaled $2,000 worth of non-perishable essentials and personal care items to our low-income clients living with AIDS.

Craig and company do his father and Dan Di Leo proud – not to mention the whole community!

Thank you hardly seems enough.
