HOWARD, WI (AP) - A man enjoying a warm afternoon outside reading a newspaper wound up with a citation for disorderly conduct. He was reading while sunbathing in the nude.

Officers in the Brown County village of Howard responded to a report of public nudit and found the 63-year-old man lying naked in a lawn chair and reading the paper.

A sheriff’s department report says he told officers he belongs to a nudist club and was trying to get a tan. He got the citation instead - and a warning not to go naked in public again.
