WEDNESDAY, July 28

The gang at 3160 celebrates Jim Flint’s birthday with entertainment by Mark Farris, Paul Marinaro, Beckie Menzie, Tom Michaels, Rose Calella with Dan Effland, Andy Pratt and Amy Cole. Honey West hosts “You’re the Star Karaoke” tonight at Monday at Roscoe’s. Chicago Entertainment Tour, Inc. offers free daily trips to Horseshoe Casino in Hammond, Indiana. You can still catch “Dixie’s Tupperware Party” through Sunday at Mason Street Warehouse in Saugatuck, Michigan. “Million Dollar Quartet” is still running at Apollo Theatre. Karaoke is hosted by Lyndon at Velvet Rope in Oak Park.

THURSDAY, July 29

The drama begins at 8 p.m. at Crew Bar + Grill with the screening of Project Runway followd by Models of the Runway. Enjoy live jazz at Velvet Rope. Roscoe’s hosts its midnight “Wet Boxer Shorts” contest with Frida Lay and $600 in prizes. Venetian weekend festivities kick off today at Dunes Resort in Saugatuck, Michigan. Hunters Hunks dancers are featured at Hunters in Elk Grove. “Lights Out” returns to Steamworks. Continuing through Sunday, Lincoln Park Lagooners presents the 2010 Wisconsin Wilderness Weekend camping trip at Glacier Wilderness Campground in Elton, Wisconsin.

Friday, July 30

Touché welcomes members of Brotherhood of the Phoenix for their club night. “Venetian” weekend continues at Dunes Resort with DJ Mark Vallese, karaoke and Manwatch Dancers. It’s Hunters “Release” dance party with DJ Ron tonight. “A Guide for the Perplexed” continues its run at Victory Gardens Theater. Gerber/Hart Library’s “Summer Spectacular” book sale begins today and continues through August 8.

Saturday, July 31

“Cowboy Eye for the Leather Guy” makeover contest is presented at Touché with Alcala’s Western Wear. Jackhammer premieres the movie, Ass Wreckers, with adult video stars Jake Wetmore, Boy Fillmore, Ramon Lopez, Marco Cruise and others. The “Bear-aoke” fundraiser with The Sidetrack Bears start at 5 p.m. at Sidetrack. Hunters hosts an “Underwear & Swimsuit” party with drink specials, free clothes check, exotic entertainers, DJ Dan and an outdoor bar and smoking patio. Amy Armstrong and Freddy Allen, along with Beckie Menzie are in the cabaret during Dunes Resort’s Venetian weekend party.

Sunday, August 1

Stop by Sidetrack for special Stoli tastings and register for a chance to win a Stoli VIP boat party. Sponsored by Miller Lite and hosted by Sofo Gay Idol Mark Ortega with special guests Stage Door Johnnies, Sofo presents the third annual T-dance with DJs Oskar, Psycho Bitch, Phil DaBeatz, Teri Bristol and Michael Thomas in the parking lot across from T’s Bar.
